| This is a joint hearing with the House Committee on County Affairs. |

| The committees will hear invited and public testimony on the following |
|
| interim charge: study policies and procedures related to illegal |
|
| immigration and border security of the Texas Department of Criminal |
|
| Justice, county probation departments, and local and county jail facilities |
|
| and make recommendations to improve coordination with international, |
|
| federal, state, and local authorities. |
|
|
| The hearing will take place in the Conference Center at The University of |
|
| Texas at Dallas, located at 800 West Campbell in Richardson, Texas. |
|
| From Campbell, guests should enter the University through the main |
|
| entrance on University Parkway. Signs will direct hearing participants to |
|
|
|
