The Senate Subcommittee on Base Realignment and Closure will meet on
Thursday, November 20, 2008, at 9 am.  The hearing will take place at
Texas A&M University-Texarkana, Science &  Technology Building, SCIT
Room 101, 7101 University Avenue, Texarkana, Texas 75501-5518.
 
The Subcommittee will hear invited testimony, with public to follow, on
the following interim charges:
- Monitor and analyze the closure process for Lone Star Army Ammunition
Plant;
- Monitor and analyze the realignment process for Red River Army Depot;
and
- Monitor the implementation of legislation addressed by the Subcommittee
80th Legislature, Regular Session, and make recommendations for any
legislation needed to improve, enhance, and/or complete implementation.
