R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced
  by a great and enduring love, Charles and Sandra Bolinger of Midland
  celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 2, 2009; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Bolinger were united in matrimony at
  Shiloh Methodist Church in San Angelo, Texas, in 1959, and made
  their home in Pecos until 1984, when they moved to Midland; through
  the years, they have nurtured a fulfilling marriage that has been
  made even richer with the addition of three children, Lisa Dickson,
  Kaye Bolinger, and Wesley Bolinger, as well as seven grandchildren
  and two great-grandchildren; and
         WHEREAS, Respected members of the community, Mrs. Bolinger
  taught in the Midland Independent School District until her
  retirement; Mr. Bolinger is also retired, having been employed by
  the Texas Department of Public Safety and by Midland County; today,
  they enjoy such activities as traveling with their cherished
  family; and
         WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past
  half-century, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant
  in their commitment to one another, and the strength of their love
  has enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with
  grace and optimism; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
  Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Charles and
  Sandra Bolinger on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary
  and extend to them sincere best wishes for continued happiness;
  and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Bolinger as an expression of high regard
  by the Texas House of Representatives.
