R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |
|
|
by a great and enduring love, Richard and Ina Taylor of Pittsburg, |
|
|
Texas, celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on March 21, 2009; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Richard Pat Taylor and the former Ina Mae Copeland |
|
|
were united in matrimony on that special day in 1964, at a ceremony |
|
|
held at a private home in Dallas; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through the years, Mr. and Mrs. Taylor have nurtured |
|
|
a fulfilling marriage that was made even richer with the addition of |
|
|
four children, Richard Taylor, Dennis Taylor, Linda Kay Taylor |
|
|
Burleson, and the late Brenda Gay Taylor; more recently, the couple |
|
|
have shared in the joy of welcoming into their family 10 |
|
|
grandchildren, Nikki, Kaylee, Aaron, Brian, McKenna, Colston, |
|
|
Jacob, Brittany, Ben, and Chris; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past 45 |
|
|
years, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant in |
|
|
their commitment to one another, and the strength of their love has |
|
|
enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with grace |
|
|
and optimism; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Richard and |
|
|
Ina Taylor on their 45th wedding anniversary and extend to them |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Taylor as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
