R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Bobby |
|
|
Eugene Holmes of Buna, who died on June 11, 2009, at the age of 79; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Born in Crawford, Mr. Holmes had lived in Buna since |
|
|
1963; he was retired from the Temple-Inland Paper Mill in Evadale, |
|
|
where he had worked as a machine operator; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Holmes was an active member of his community, |
|
|
and he had served as a past master of Buna Masonic Lodge #1095; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, While his death has brought great sorrow to all who |
|
|
knew him, memories of time spent in his company will be forever |
|
|
treasured by all who were privileged to share in his love and |
|
|
friendship; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of |
|
|
Bobby Eugene Holmes and extend sincere condolences to the members |
|
|
of his family: to his wife of 59 years, Margaret Ruth Holmes; to his |
|
|
sons, Captain Mike Holmes and his wife, Dorothy, Gary Holmes and his |
|
|
wife, Lisa, Joey Holmes and his wife, Maggie, Bob Holmes and his |
|
|
wife, Glenda, Jeff Holmes and his wife, Genny, and Jamey Holmes and |
|
|
his wife, Sherry; to his brothers, Bill Holmes, Joe Holmes, and |
|
|
Jimmy Holmes; to his sisters, Hazel Hawkins and Merle Morgan; to his |
|
|
grandchildren, Michael Lee Holmes, Allyson Krengle, Chris Holmes, |
|
|
Marcus Holmes, Sarah Green, Hanna Olivarez, Rachel Holmes, |
|
|
Katherine Holmes, Rebecca Holmes, Abigail Holmes, Emily Holmes, and |
|
|
Ellen Holmes; to his great-grandchildren, Gracie Green, Noah Green, |
|
|
Kahner Krengle, Garrett Krengle, and Aiden Olivarez; and to his |
|
|
other relatives and friends; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for his family, and that when the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Bobby |
|
|
Eugene Holmes. |
