R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Fire rescue officer Fred Fite of the Del Rio Fire and |
|
|
Rescue Department has received his certification from the Texas |
|
|
Commission on Fire Protection in 2009; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, One of the newest members of the department, Officer |
|
|
Fite has already been awarded the DRFRD Medal of Honor for playing |
|
|
an important role in saving the life of an elderly man in June 2008; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since then, Officer Fite has continued to earn the |
|
|
respect and admiration of his fellow firefighters, as well as the |
|
|
gratitude of the people of Del Rio; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Every day, Texas firefighters stand ready to perform |
|
|
their dangerous and necessary work, and fire rescue officer Fred |
|
|
Fite may indeed take great pride in his latest achievement; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Del Rio fire |
|
|
rescue officer Fred Fite on his certification by the Texas |
|
|
Commission on Fire Protection and extend to him sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued success and happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Officer Fite as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
