R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Assistant chief Pablo Padilla is celebrating 30 |
|
|
years of outstanding service with the Del Rio Fire and Rescue |
|
|
Department in 2009; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, During the past three decades, Chief Padilla has |
|
|
distinguished himself through his professionalism and his |
|
|
dedication to the safety and welfare of the public; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Chief Padilla was recognized as Firefighter of the |
|
|
Year in 1987, and over the course of his tenure, he has continued to |
|
|
earn the respect and admiration of his fellow firefighters, as well |
|
|
as the gratitude of the people of Del Rio; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Every day, Texas firefighters stand ready to perform |
|
|
their dangerous and necessary work, and assistant chief Pablo |
|
|
Padilla may indeed take great pride in his long and honorable |
|
|
service in behalf of the citizens of Del Rio; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate assistant |
|
|
chief Pablo Padilla on his 30 years with the Del Rio Fire and Rescue |
|
|
Department and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success and happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Chief Padilla as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
