R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Tamme Harty has been nominated for the 2009 Texas |
|
|
Small Business of the Year Award from the Texas Association of |
|
|
Business; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This commendation honors entrepreneurs who have |
|
|
proven themselves innovators in their areas of business, who have |
|
|
overcome adversity, and who have been proactive in solving problems |
|
|
and seizing opportunities; moreover, the award recognizes superior |
|
|
leadership skills as exhibited by those who work to benefit their |
|
|
community; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Harty is the president of Sound Perfection in |
|
|
Frisco; her achievements were previously recognized when she was |
|
|
named the 2008 Entrepreneur of the Year by the Frisco Chamber of |
|
|
Commerce; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The strength of our state's economy is greatly |
|
|
influenced by the vision and ingenuity of exceptional small |
|
|
business leaders such as Tamme Harty, and she may take justifiable |
|
|
pride in becoming a nominee for this prestigious honor; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Tamme Harty on |
|
|
her nomination for the 2009 Texas Small Business of the Year Award |
|
|
from the Texas Association of Business and extend to her sincere |
|
|
best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Harty as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
