R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Principal Jamie Holder of Lindale High School has |
|
|
been named 2008-2009 Region 7 Secondary Principal of the Year by the |
|
|
Texas Education Agency; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Under the leadership of Mr. Holder, Lindale High has |
|
|
earned a reputation as one of the best schools in the state; it is |
|
|
one of just six 4A high school campuses to receive a "recognized" |
|
|
rating in 2009 and is a three-time winner of the University |
|
|
Interscholastic League academic state championship; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding educator has been principal of |
|
|
Lindale High School for six years, and he was recently promoted to |
|
|
the position of deputy superintendent of the Lindale Independent |
|
|
School District; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Jamie Holder's dedication, professionalism, and |
|
|
commitment to excellence have earned him this prestigious award, |
|
|
and he may indeed take great pride in all that he has accomplished |
|
|
as he continues to serve the students of the Lindale area; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Jamie Holder |
|
|
on being named 2008-2009 Region 7 Secondary Principal of the Year by |
|
|
the Texas Education Agency and extend to him sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Holder as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
