R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |
|
by a great and enduring love, Ray and Peggy Hulse of Quitman |
|
celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 9, 2009; and |
|
WHEREAS, Ray Hulse and the former Peggy Kline were united in |
|
matrimony on June 9, 1949, in Dallas; through the years, they have |
|
nurtured a fulfilling marriage that has been made even richer with |
|
the addition of their cherished children; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Hulse retired from D.P. & L. Company in Dallas |
|
after 37 years, and Mrs. Hulse is retired from Dallas ISD; the two |
|
now reside in Quitman and are members of the First Baptist Church in |
|
Quitman; and |
|
WHEREAS, While innumerable changes have taken place in the |
|
world during the past 60 years, this devoted husband and wife have |
|
remained constant in their commitment to one another, and the |
|
strength of their love has enabled them to meet life's challenges |
|
and opportunities with grace and optimism; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Ray and Peggy |
|
Hulse of Quitman on the occasion of their 60th wedding anniversary |
|
and extend to them sincere best wishes for continued happiness; |
|
and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Hulse as an expression of high regard by |
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
