R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, In recognition of his exemplary service, Lieutenant |
|
|
Scot Carcasi was named the 2008 Firefighter of the Year by the Del |
|
|
Rio Fire and Rescue Department; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Scot Carcasi joined DRFRD in October 1992, and he |
|
|
was promoted to engineer in August 1996 and to lieutenant in January |
|
|
2003; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Lieutenant Carcasi has earned a bachelor's degree |
|
|
and holds advanced firefighter certification; in addition, he |
|
|
serves his fellow officers as president of the Del Rio Professional |
|
|
Firefighters Association; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For nearly 17 years, Scot Carcasi has earned the |
|
|
respect and admiration of his peers for his leadership, his |
|
|
knowledge, and his passion for public service, and he may indeed |
|
|
take great pride in his receipt of this special honor; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Lieutenant |
|
|
Scot Carcasi on his selection as the 2008 Firefighter of the Year by |
|
|
the Del Rio Fire and Rescue Department and extend to him sincere |
|
|
best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Lieutenant Carcasi as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
