System updates will be applied on February 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM. These updates will include changes to the user interface. Work is expected to take approximately 30 minutes to complete, during which the site will be unavailable.

	Amend CSHB 3 (house committee report) as follows:                            

(1)  On page 11, line 19, strike "and (b-5)" and substitute 	"(b-5), and (b-6)".
	(2)  On page 14, between lines 20 and 21, insert the 
following:              
	(b-6)  The State Board of Education, in coordination with the 
Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, shall adopt rules to 
ensure that a student may comply with the curriculum requirements 
under the minimum, recommended, or advanced high school program for 
each subject of the foundation curriculum under Section 
28.002(a)(1) and for languages other than English under Section 
28.002(a)(2)(A) by successfully completing appropriate courses in 
the core curriculum of an institution of higher education under 
Section 61.822.
