System updates will be applied on February 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM. These updates will include changes to the user interface. Work is expected to take approximately 30 minutes to complete, during which the site will be unavailable.

	Amend CSHB 3 (house committee report) as follows:                            
	(1)  On page 5, line 19, between "Subsections" and "(d-1)", 
insert "(c-1),". 
	(2)  On page 8, between lines 4 and 5, insert the following:                   
	(c-1)  A school district shall implement an accelerated 
instruction program required under Subsection (c) immediately 
following the student's failure to perform satisfactorily on an 
assessment instrument specified under Subsection (b).
	(3)  On page 9, line 7, between the period and "The", insert 
the following:
	If the student participates in a district's special education 
program under Subchapter A, Chapter 29, or bilingual education or 
special language program under Subchapter B, Chapter 29, the 
student's special education or bilingual education or special 
language program teacher must be included on the grade placement 
committee.
