Amend CSHB 3 as follows:                                                     
	1. On page 4, line 26, strike "and (c-2)" and substitute 
"(c-2) and (q)"     
	2. On page 5, between lines 11 and 12, insert the following:                   
	(q) The State Board of Education shall ensure that all career 
and technology courses adopted under this section that are part of a 
coherent sequence of courses allow a student to obtain industry 
certification or licensure in a career and technology profession or 
college credit for coursework.  Career and technology courses that 
are not part of a coherent sequence of courses are not required to 
comply with this section.
