Amend Floor Amendment No. 125 to CSHB 300 by Pickett (page 
174, prefiled amendment packet), on page 6 of the amendment (page 
179, prefiled amendment packet), between lines 12 and 13, by 
inserting the following:
	Sec. 372.1555.  PROHIBITIONS ON PRIVATE ENTITIES IN 
CONNECTION WITH COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENTS.  (a) The 
restrictions imposed by this subchapter on a local toll project 
entity, including Sections 372.152-372.155, apply equally to a 
private entity that seeks to enter into or that participates in a 
comprehensive development agreement or other public-private 
partnership in connection with a toll project.
	(b)  A private entity that knowingly violates this section is 
ineligible to enter into a comprehensive development agreement or 
other public-private partnership in connection with a toll project.
