	Amend CSHB 300 (House committee printing) by adding the 
following ARTICLE to the bill, appropriately numbered, and 
renumbering subsequent ARTICLE accordingly:


ARTICLE ____.  TRANSPORTATION OF FIREWORKS

	SECTION ____.01.  Chapter 750, Transportation Code, is 
amended by adding Section 750.004 to read as follows:
	Sec. 750.004.  TRANSPORTATION OF FIREWORKS.  The 
transportation of fireworks in unopened and original packaging may 
not be prohibited or regulated.
