Amend CSHB 300 (house committee printing) as follows:                        

(1)  On page 62, between lines 22 and 23, insert the 	following:              
	(d)  A metropolitan planning organization may not engage the 
services of a person who is required to register with the Texas 
Ethics Commission under Chapter 305, Government Code.
	(2)  Add the following appropriately numbered ARTICLE to the 
bill and renumber the remaining ARTICLES accordingly:

ARTICLE ____.  REGIONAL MOBILITY AUTHORITIES
	SECTION ____.01.  Subchapter F, Chapter 370, Transportation 
Code, is amended by adding Section 370.2524 to read as follows:
	Sec. 370.2524.  CERTAIN EMPLOYMENT PROHIBITED.  A regional 
mobility authority may not engage the services of a person who is 
required to register with the Texas Ethics Commission under Chapter 
305, Government Code.
