System updates will be applied on February 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM. These updates will include changes to the user interface. Work is expected to take approximately 30 minutes to complete, during which the site will be unavailable.

	Amend CSHB 300 (House committee printing) as follows:                        

(1)  On page 193, line 13, strike "3(h) and (l)" and 	substitute "3(f), (h), and (l)".
	(2)  On page 193, between lines 14 and 15, insert the 
following:             
	(f)  It is a ground for removal from the authority if a 
member:              
		(1)  does not have at the time of taking office
[appointment] the qualifications required by Subsection (b) or is 
disqualified under Subsection (i) or (k) of this section;
		(2)  does not maintain during service on the authority 
the qualifications required by Subsection (b) or becomes 
disqualified under Subsection (i) or (k) of this section;
		(3)  cannot because of illness or disability discharge 
the member's duties for a substantial part of the term for which the 
member is appointed; or
		(4)  is absent from more than half of the regularly 
scheduled authority meetings that the member is eligible to attend 
during a calendar year without an excuse approved by a majority vote 
of the authority.
