System updates will be applied on February 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM. These updates will include changes to the user interface. Work is expected to take approximately 30 minutes to complete, during which the site will be unavailable.

	SECTION 1.  Amend Section 1704.055, Occupations Code, in HB 
383 by amending Subsection (b) and adding Subsection (c) to read as 
follows:
	(b) Except as provided by Subsection (c), a [A] board shall 
meet:
		(1) at least once a month; and                                                
		(2) at other times at the call of the presiding officer.                      
	(c) A board in a county with a population of less than 50,000 
shall meet at least once each quarter at the call of the presiding 
officer.
