Amend CSHB 394 as follows:                                                   
	(1)  On page 1, line 11, strike "Subsections (k) and (l)" and 
substitute "Subsections (k), (l), and (m)".
	(2)  On page 1, immediately following line 24, insert the 
following:         
	(m)  At least 10 percent of the total amount of grants made 
from the fund must be to fund the establishment and expansion of 
small businesses in this state that have as their primary purpose 
the provision of energy derived from renewable energy technology, 
as defined by Section 39.904(d), Utilities Code.
