	Amend CSHB 662 (house committee printing) as follows:                        
	(1)  On page 2, strike lines 10-12 and substitute:                             

unless the wireless communication device is used in case of an 
emergency.
	(2)  On page 2, strike lines 19-23 and substitute:                             
	(f)  In this section, "wireless communication device" means 
a hand-held or hands-free device that uses commercial mobile 
service, as defined by 47 U.S.C. Section 332.
