Amend HB 1020 (house committee printing) as follows:                         

(1)  On page 1, line 8, strike "Subsection (k)" and 	substitute "Subsections (k) and (l)".
	(2)  On page 3, between lines 4 and 5, insert the following:                   
	(l)  Subsection (k) does not authorize a student to bring a 
firearm on school property to participate in or prepare for a 
school-sponsored shooting sports competition or a shooting sports 
educational activity described by that subsection.
