	Amend CSHB 1151 (House Committee Printing) as follows:                       

(1)  On page 1, strike lines 5-24.
	(2)  Strike page 2, line 15, through page 3, line 1, and 
substitute the following:
		(3)  the child is 12 years of age or older and has 
expressed to [filed with] the court in chambers as provided by 
Section 153.009 [in writing] the name of the person who is the 
child's preference to have the exclusive right to designate the 
primary residence of the child [and the temporary order designating 
that person is in the best interest of the child].
	(3)  On page 3, strike line 18 and substitute:                                 

"expressed to [filed with] the court in chambers as provided by 
Section 153.009".
	(4)  On page 3, between lines 25 and 26, insert the following 
appropriately numbered SECTION:
	SECTION ____.  Section 153.008, Family Code, is repealed.                      
	(5)  Strike page 3, line 26, through page 4, line 2.                           
	(6)  On page 4, line 3, strike "(b)" and substitute "SECTION 
___."           
	(7)  Renumber the sections of the bill appropriately.
