	Amend HB 1357 (House committee printing) as follows:                         

(1)  On page 5, line 15, strike "and".
	(2)  On page 5, line 16, strike the period and substitute the 
following:     
	; and                                                                   
		(11)  transfer protocols for patients requiring 
advanced medical care at a hospital.
	(3)  On page 6, line 11, between "REQUIREMENTS." and "A", 
insert "(a)".
	(4)  On page 6, between lines 16 and 17, insert the 
following:               
	(b)  Before a facility accepts any patient for treatment or 
diagnosis, the facility shall enter into a referral, transmission, 
or admission agreement with a hospital licensed in this state that 
has an emergency room.
