	Amend CSHB 1789 as follows:                                                  

(1)  On page 2, line 17, strike "and" and substitute "[and]".
	(2)  On page 3, line 5, strike "or".                                    
	(3)  On page 3, line 8, strike "and" and substitute "or".               
	(4)  On page 3, between lines 8 and 9, insert the following:                   
				(v)  has a population of at least 65,000 but 
less than 80,000 and no part of which is located in a county with a 
population greater than 150,000; and
	(5)  On page 3, line 12, strike the period and substitute "; 
and".    
	(6)  On page 3, between lines 12 and 13, insert the 
following:               
		(8)  for a municipality with a population of at least 
65,000 but less than 80,000, no part of which is located in a county 
with a population greater than 150,000, the construction, 
improvement, enlarging, equipping, repairing, operation, and 
maintenance of a coliseum or multiuse facility.
