	Amend CSHB 2256 (house committee printing) as follows:                       

(1)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, in added Section 1467.051(a), 	Insurance Code (page 3, line 17), strike "$500" and substitute 
"$1,000".
	(2)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, in added Section 1467.051(c), 
Insurance Code (page 3, line 26), strike "A facility-based 
physician may" and substitute "Except in the case of an emergency, a 
facility-based physician shall".
