Amend Floor Amendment No. 7 for CSHB 2730 (house committee 
report) by adding the following appropriately numbered SECTIONS to 
ARTICLE 1 of the bill and renumbering subsequent SECTIONS of that 
ARTICLE accordingly:
	SECTION 1.____. Section 548.501, Transportation Code, is 
amended by adding Subsection (c) to read as follows:
	(c) An inspection station may collect the applicable 
inspection fee at the time of the original inspection of a vehicle, 
regardless of whether an inspection certificate is issued at that 
time.  An inspection fee my be included with charges for other 
products or services but must be shown on a work order for the 
products or services as a separate item.  An inspection fee may be 
advertised in conjunction with other products or services.
