Amend HB 3025 (House committee printing) as follows:                         
	(1)  On page 1, line 11, strike "entry to" and substitute 
"entry door or doorframe of"
	(2)  On page 1, line 13, strike ", including a mezuzah".                
	(3)  On page 1, line 15, between "that" and "prohibits" 
insert ", to the extent allowed by the constitution of this state 
and the United States,"
	(4)  On page 1, line 18, strike "or"                                    
	(5)  On page 1, line 20, between "person" and the period 
insert the following:

		(4)  is in a location other than the entry door or 
doorframe or extends past the outer edge of the doorframe of the 
owner's or resident's dwelling; or
		(5)  individually or in combination with each other 
religious item displayed or affixed on the entry door or doorframe 
has a total size of greater than 25 square inches
	(6)  On page 1, line 21, between "(c)" and "A" insert the 
following:

Except as otherwise provided by this section, this section does not 
authorize an owner or resident to use a material or color for an 
entry door or doorframe of the owner's or resident's dwelling or 
make an alteration to the entry door or doorframe that is not 
authorized by the restrictive covenants governing the dwelling.
