Amend CSHB 3097 (House committee printing) by striking page 
2, line 24 through page 3, line 5, and substituting the following:
	(b)  Three members shall be appointed to represent motor 
vehicle dealers, one of whom must be a recreational vehicle dealer 
or a heavy-duty truck dealer; one member shall be appointed to 
represent county tax assessor-collectors; one member shall be 
appointed to represent the motor carrier industry; one member shall 
be appointed to represent law enforcement agencies; and three 
members shall be appointed to represent the general public.  The 
member appointed to represent law enforcement agencies may not be a 
state employee.
