	Amend CSHB 3461 by adding the following SECTION, 
appropriately numbered, and renumbering the subsequent SECTIONS of 
the bill accordingly:
	SECTION ____.  Subchapter A, Chapter 32, Natural Resources 
Code, is amended by adding Section 32.003 to read as follows:
	Sec. 32.003.  APPLICATION OF SUNSET ACT.  The School Land 
Board is subject to Chapter 325, Government Code (Texas Sunset 
Act).  Unless continued in existence as provided by that chapter, 
the board is abolished September 1, 2017.
