Amend CSHB 4294 (house committee reading) as follows:                        
	(1)  On page 1, line 6, strike "Subsection (f)" and 
substitute "Subsections (f) and (g)".
	(2)  On page 1, between lines 8 and 9, insert the following:                   
	(g)  The commissioner shall adopt rules that require the 
geographic socio-economic parity among school districts in the 
state for  the purchase of technological equipment purchased with 
the state textbook fund.
