	Amend CSSB 1 by adding the following appropriately numbered 
rider in Article VII of the bill after the appropriations to the 
Texas Department of Transportation:
	____.  It is the intent of the legislature that before 
Metropolitan Planning Organizations can expend funds allocated 
from the Texas Department of Transportation for 
transportation-related improvement projects, the Metropolitan 
Planning Organizations must consult with their area state 
representative and state senator.
