Amend Floor Amendment No. 182 to CSSB 1 by Strama (page 263, 
prefiled amendments packet) by striking the text of Rider 27 and 
substituting the following:
	27.  School Readiness Models.  Out of federal funds 
appropriated to the Texas Workforce Commission in Strategies A.3.1, 
TANF Choices Child Care; A.3.2, Transitional Child Care; and A.3.3, 
At-Risk Child Care, the commission shall match the amount of 
available general revenue for the Early Childhood School Readiness 
Programs funded in Rider 41 following the appropriation in Article 
III to the Texas Education Agency to provide for each year of the 
2010-2011 state fiscal biennium a total amount equal to the greater 
of $11,700,000 or the maximum amount allowable under the approved 
match rate for the purpose of providing funds to child care 
providers participating in integrated school readiness models 
developed by the State Center for Early Childhood Development at 
the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.  Not later 
than December 1st of each even-numbered year, the State Center for 
Early Childhood Development shall report to the Legislative Budget 
Board and the Office of the Governor the detailed use of all state 
funds expended by the center for early childhood education 
services.
