Amend CSSB 1 on page I-69, Preservation Board, by amending 
Rider No. 8, Restoration of the Governor's Mansion Project, to read 
as follows:
	8.  Contingency Rider for HB 3578 and Restoration of the 
Governor's Mansion Project.  Included in amounts appropriated above 
in Strategy A.1.2, Building Maintenance, in fiscal year 2010 is 
$16,900,000 in General Revenue Funds.  Contingent on enactment of 
HB 3578, or similar legislation, the Preservation Board is 
appropriated out of those funds the amount necessary to purchase 
Woodlawn and restore it for use by the Governor as the Governor's 
principal residence in Austin.  Out of any remaining funds, the 
Preservation Board shall restore the Governor's Mansion for use as 
a museum as directed by HB 3578 or similar legislation.  If HB 3578, 
or similar legislation, is not enacted, those funds shall be used 
for the sole purpose of the capital budget project Restoration of 
the Governor's Mansion.
