	Amend CSSB 1 as follows:                                                     
	Add the following appropriately numbered rider in Article IV 
following the appropriations to the Supreme Court of Texas:
	____.  Contingency Appropriation: Basic Civil Legal 
Services. Contingent on the enactment of HB 2517, SB 2279, or 
similar legislation of the 81st Legislature relating to the 
dedication of certain civil penalties for violations of the 
Business & Commerce Code to provide civil legal services to the 
indigent, all fees, fines, or penalties deposited into the Basic 
Civil Legal Services Account of the Judicial Fund under Section 
118.011, Local Government Code, is appropriated for Strategy B.1.1, 
Basic Civil Legal Services.
