System updates will be applied on February 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM. These updates will include changes to the user interface. Work is expected to take approximately 30 minutes to complete, during which the site will be unavailable.

	Amend CSSB 1 (Senate committee printing) as follows:                         
	(1)  Add the following in Article XI following the 
appropriations to the Texas Education Agency:
	Texas Education Agency is hereby appropriated for fiscal year 
2010 $18,711,000 and for fiscal year 2011 $18,711,000 out of 
general revenue.
	Additional Compensation for certain teachers.  In addition to 
other compensation to which a teacher is entitled, an additional 
$9,000 per year must be provided to teachers who:
		(1)  teaches at a campus at which 85 percent or more of 
the students are educationally disadvantaged; and 
		(2)  has at least three years of classroom teaching 
experience; and         
		(3)  teaches a subject that the teacher is certified to 
teach.
