	Amend CSSB 1, under Article XI, under bill pattern for the 
Commission on State Emergency Commission add the following 
appropriately numbered rider:
	____  Construction of Dispatch Center in Hidalgo County.  To 
the extent provided by law, out of funds appropriated above, the 
Commission on State Emergency Communications shall provide a grant 
of $1,250,000 in fiscal year 2010 to the Lower Rio Grande Valley 
Development Council for the construction of an emergency dispatch 
center in Hidalgo County and procurement of 9-1-1 and emergency 
dispatch equipment, pursuant to Health and Safety Code, Section 
771.0751.
