	Amend CSSB 1 as follows:                                                     
	(1)  On page II-73, Strategy B.2.3, Medicare Federal Give 
Back, strike $380,236,786 for the fiscal year ending August 31, 
2011; and
	(2)  Add a new appropriately-numbered rider to read as 
follows:              
	____.  For the fiscal biennium beginning September 1, 2009, 
the Commission is appropriated the following amounts out of the 
general revenue fund contingent upon the enactment of legislation 
or the adoption of agency rules:
		(1)  $296,000,000 for the purpose of providing 12 months 
of continuous Medicaid coverage for children; and 
		(2)  $44,000,000 for the purpose of providing a 
Medically Needy program for adults.
