	Amend SB 654 (house committee report) as follows:                            
	(1) After SECTION 4 of the bill (page 5, between lines 11 and 
12), insert the following:
	SECTION 5. Section 172.003(3) is amended to read as follows:                   
		(3) "Political Subdivision" means a county, 
municipality, special district, school district, junior college 
district, housing authority, or other political subdivision of this 
[the] state or any other state.
	(2) Renumber SECTIONS of the bill appropriately.
