Amend CSSB 681 (Senate committee printing) as follows:                       
	(1)  On page 1, line 57, strike "and."                                         
	(2)  On page 1, line 60, strike "section." and insert 
"section; and".        
	(3)  On page 1, between lines 60 and 61, insert the 
following:               
		"(4)  the potential for distributed generation, 
including renewable power with battery backup and combined heat and 
power systems, to strengthen reliability of electric service during 
a natural disaster or other emergency."
