Amend SB 727 (house committee printing) in SECTION 2 of the 
bill as follows:
	(1)  In the introductory language to SECTION 2 of the bill 
(page 1, lines 9-10), strike "Subsection (h-1)" and substitute 
"Subsections (h-1) and (j)".
	(2)  Immediately following added Article 102.020(h-1), Code 
of Criminal Procedure (page 2, between lines 6-7), insert the 
following new subsection:
	(j)  The court may waive the imposition of a court cost under 
this article if the court determines that the defendant is indigent 
and unable to pay the cost.
