Amend CSSB 855 (Senate committee printing), in SECTION 1 of 
the bill, in proposed Section 446.157, Local Government Code (page 
14, between lines 7 and 8), by inserting the following:
	(c-1)  Notwithstanding Sections 446.152 and 446.154, if an 
election is held under this subchapter on the issue of imposing a 
tax under this section, a subsequent election on the issue of 
imposing an increase in the rate of the tax may not be held before 
the fourth anniversary of the date of the previous election.
