Amend CSSB 1016 by adding the following appropriately 
numbered SECTION to the bill and renumbering subsequent SECTIONS of 
the bill accordingly: , as follows:
	(1)  SECTION ____.  Chapter 58, Agriculture Code, is amended 
by adding the following:
	A contractor must ensure that claims for reimbursement are 
postmarked or received by TDA no later than 60 days after the end of 
the claim month.  The Texas Department of Agriculture shall allow 
contracting sponsoring institutions of the USDA Child and Adult 
Care Food Program to submit corrections to the claims each month 
without restriction consistent with 7 CFR 226.10(e). Submission of 
amended claims shall not result in adverse action, up to and 
including placement in the Serious Deficiency Process.
