Amend CSSB 1164 (Senate committee printing) as follows:                      
	In section 1 of the bill, at the end of added section 
411.2031, Government Code (page 1, between lines 42 and 43), 
insert:

	(f)  A parent or legal guardian of a student or a student who 
resides in a dormitory or other residential buildings that are 
owned or operated by the institution and located on the campus of 
the institution may request assignment to a dormitory or 
residential building where a license holder is prohibited from 
possessing or carrying a concealed handgun.
