Amend CSSB 1164 on third reading as follows:                                 
	(1)  In Section 411.2031, Government Code, as added by 
SECTION 1 of the bill, insert a new Subsection (g) to read as 
follows:
	(g)  This section does not permit a license holder to carry a 
concealed handgun on or about the premises of a hospital maintained 
or operated by an institution of higher education.
	(2)  Add the following SECTION to the bill, appropriately 
numbered, to read as follows:
	SECTION ____.  Section 46.03, Penal Code, is amended by 
adding Subsection (j) to read as follows:
	(j)  Subsection (a)(1)(B) does not permit a person to possess 
a concealed handgun, or go with a concealed handgun, on the premises 
of a hospital maintained or operated by an institution of higher 
education.
