Amend SB 1326 (House Committee Report) as follows:                           
	(1) On page 6, between line 6 and line 7, insert new SECTION 
13, as follows: 
	SECTION 13. Chapter 104, Subchapter B, Health and Safety 
Code, is amended by adding new Section 104.0157, to read as follows:
	Sec. 104.0157. TEXAS HEALTH BENEFITS STUDY. (a) The statewide 
health coordinating council, in consultation with all interested 
parties, shall study the disparity in patient co-payments between 
orally- and intravenously- administered chemotherapies, the 
reasons for the disparity, and the patient benefits in establishing 
co-payment parity between oral and infused chemotherapy agents.
	(b) Not later that August 1, 2010, the council shall submit to 
the governor, the lieutenant governor, the speaker of the house of 
representatives, and the appropriate standing committees of the 
legislature a report regarding the results of the study conducted 
under Subsection (a), together with any recommendation for 
legislation.
	(2) Renumber the remaining section of the bill as 
appropriate.
