Amend CSSB 1508 (Senate committee printing) as follows:                      
	(1)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, immediately following added 
Section 451.0615(b), Transportation Code (page 1, between lines 41 
and 42), insert new subsection:
	(b-1)  A resolution adopted under Subsection (b) may not 
provide for the imposition of a penalty for a vehicle that is 
operated in violation of the minimum number of persons requirement 
for use of a high occupancy vehicle lane or for the purpose of 
enforcing compliance with posted speed limits.
	(2)  In SECTION 2 of the bill, immediately following added 
Section 452.0615(c), Transportation Code (page 2, between lines 46 
and 47), insert the following new subsection:
	(c-1)  A resolution adopted under Subsection (c) may not 
provide for the imposition of a penalty for a vehicle that is 
operated in violation of the minimum number of persons requirement 
for use of a high occupancy vehicle lane or for the purpose of 
enforcing compliance with posted speed limits.
