Amend SB 1967 (House committee printing), in SECTION 4 of the 
bill, added Section 542.4045, Transportation Code, by striking 
Subdivisions (1) and (2) (page 3, lines 5 through 10) and 
substituting the following:
		(1)  the offense is punishable by a fine of not less 
than $500 or more than $2,000, if a person other than the operator 
of the vehicle suffered bodily injury, as defined by Section 1.07, 
Penal Code, in the accident; and
		(2)  the offense is punishable by a fine of not less 
than $1,000 or more than $4,000, if a person other than the operator 
of the vehicle suffered serious bodily injury, as defined by 
Section 1.07, Penal Code, in the accident.
