	Amend SB 2298 by adding the following appropriately numbered 
SECTIONS to the bill and renumbering subsequent SECTIONS 
accordingly:
	SECTION ____.  The heading to Section 659.0125, Government 
Code, is amended to read as follows:
	Sec. 659.0125.  SALARY FOR DISTRICT JUDGE OR RETIRED JUDGE
PRESIDING OVER MULTIDISTRICT LITIGATION.
	SECTION ____.  Section 659.0125, Government Code, is amended 
by adding Subsection (c) to read as follows:
	(c)  A retired judge appointed to an MDL pretrial court, as 
defined by Section 90.001, Civil Practice and Remedies Code, is 
entitled to receive the same compensation and benefits to which a 
district judge is entitled.
