Amend SB 2456 (House committee printing) as follows:                         
	(1) In SECTION 1 of the bill, on page 3, line 11, between 
"(7)" and ";" strike "William P. Goranson" and insert "A person 
appointed by the Commissioners Courts of Brooks and Jim Hogg 
Counties within 60 days of the effective date of this Act".
	(2) In SECTION 1 of the bill, on page 4, line 12, between 
"(5)" and "," strike "William P. Goranson" and insert "A person 
appointed by the Commissioners Courts of Brooks and Jim Hogg 
Counties".
	(3) In SECTION 2 of the bill, on page 15, line 14, between 
"area" and ":" insert "and which is not located within the Kenedy 
County Groundwater Conservation District as of the effective date 
of this Act".
